In this episode or the Rottler Featured Series we’re heading out to Centerville, Utah to visit Dave’s Auto Center, a family-owned business that’s also home to the most trusted diesel and automotive mechanics in the state.

Dave’s began as a plain old auto repair shop over 30 years ago, but has grown to a full service auto center with a CNC machine shop and even a complete line of crate engines ready to ship.

While Dave & crew service the full range of cars and trucks, one area they really shine is in diesel repair and rebuilds. The company always strives to build great product, and one of the ways they do that is investing in the best tools to deliver the best results. And when it comes the the engine building business, the best tools naturally includes Rottler.

Dave’s first piece of Rottler equipment was an F79 (now EM79), multi-purpose automatic CNC engine machining center — a purchase Dave’s president, Miles Bell, calls “the best investment they’ve ever made” in the business.

Since the F79, they’ve also added a Rottler H85AX automatic hone to their equipment line-up, allowing them to setup and walk away while the machine does a wide range of precision work completely unattended!
