Engine Rebuilders and Supply: How a Small Shop Finds Big Power
For our 10th episode in the Rottler Featured Series we went to Stone Park, Illinois to see how father and son team Andy and Andrew Frontzak of Engine Rebuilders and Supply are using Rottler machines to help rebuild classic and muscle cars to better than new.
Their shop opened in 1973 and they got their first piece of Rottler equipment—one of our classic green machine boring bars—back in 1983.
Since then they’ve acquired several Rottler machines, including our state-of-the-art H80 series fully automatic hone which Andrew credits for letting a small shop like his do what only bigger shops used to be able to do.
“The Rottler Hone lets us make the most power possible unattended. We just set it up and it does the rest.”
