Multi-Purpose CNC Machining Centers for large, heavy duty engines

Advanced. Fully Automated. Unparalleled.

Big Engines Mean Big Challenges

Big workhorse diesel engines present special challenges when it comes to repair and remanufacturing. The size and weight alone are problems, problems made more difficult by the amount of labor and time it takes to assess and restore them to the manufacturer’s specifications.

To handle these special challenges, Rottler developed the EM100 series, a line of multi-purpose CNC engine machining centers capable of precisely machining high-horsepower and heavy-duty engine blocks and vehicle parts faster, more efficiently, and affordably than ever before.

Powered by Rottler’s Conversational Programming and touch screen technology, these advanced CNC machines are as easy to operate as a smartphone. No programming is needed; operators can be trained by a field technician and running the machine at maximum capability in just days.

Precision Machining with Simple, Fully Automatic Operation

Rottler technology and tooling lets an operator tap in a task, press start, and walk away. The EM100 does the rest.

With Rottler EM100 series machines, one person can do what it would take three or four to do with other equipment.

Rottler’s unique Automatic Cycle software and production tooling allows a block to be completely machined without an operator.

The operator merely enters the task into the machine via the touch screen, and presses start. From there the machine takes care of the rest of the process, freeing the operator to move on to something else.

Single Machine, Multiple Operations

There’s no need to move an engine block from machine to machine

Because these machines can perform multiple, fully automatic machining operations on a block, there’s no re-configuring or changing machines.

Your setup times are slashed 60% to 80%, and machining operations are completed two to three times faster.

Even better, because the EM100 series is fully automatic, your operator is free to work on something else, doubling (or tripling) productivity.

Fast, Proven Return On Investment

Cut setup & machining time by 60% or more, speed work completion by 300%

If you’re looking for a real, measurable return on investment in big diesel machining equipment, you’ll find no better value than the EM100 series machining centers.

They offer faster setup, complete work 2X to 3X faster than other equipment, and deliver the precision, accuracy, and ease of the industry’s most advanced CNC technology. Even better, they’re low maintenance, and work unattended so that your operators are free to focus on other, more productive tasks.

The EM100 series is, quite simply, one of the smartest investments you can make.

Meet the EM100 Family

An engine machining solution for every size engine

The EM100 series offers five different models capable of managing everything from on-highway motors in trucks and buses, to the massive engines found in locomotives and gas compressors.
