This week on the Rottler Featured Series we travel to Markesan, Wisconsin to see Casey Wegner at Wegner Automotive.

Wegner’s shop has been around since his dad founded the business in 1975 and made his name building NASCAR engines for Bobby and Davey Allison. Since then they have built hundreds of race-winning engines for racers of all types — circle, dirt, and strip.

One of the secrets to Wegner’s success is investing in “a ton of research and development” to see how new finishes affect the engine’s performance. We’re pleased to note that our Rottler H85AX vertical automatic hone plays a big part in helping Wegner develop those cylinder finishes and deliver a better product to his customers.
